The 2026 cohort closes with 130 entrepreneurs trained across Romania, North Macedonia and Serbia, and 90 businesses now digitalised and mentored.

The training cycle brought together entrepreneurs from retail, construction, food production and waste collection — sectors where Roma-run businesses are strongly represented and institutionally under-served.

Alongside the classroom component, 90 businesses received one-to-one digitalisation and mentoring support: bookkeeping, online storefronts, pricing, and preparing the documentation lenders ask for.

What comes next

Graduates move into the Fund and Sell pillars, where REDI facilitates loan applications and connects businesses to e-commerce and procurement channels. Since 2016 the network has facilitated 2,500 loan applications.
