REDI Recycling

A Skopje-based social enterprise of Roma waste collectors, moving informal collection work into formal, protected employment.

Waste collection is one of the most common forms of Roma self-employment in the region, and one of the least protected. REDI Recycling turns that work into a registered enterprise: contracts, protective equipment, safety training and predictable income.

The enterprise serves municipal and commercial clients in Skopje and reinvests its margin into the collectors themselves.
