REDI Fund

A dedicated microfinance vehicle, established in 2019 as a Luxembourg SOPARFI, financing Roma-owned micro and small businesses.

Mainstream lenders rarely reach Roma-owned micro and small businesses: the files are unfamiliar, the collateral is thin, and the relationship does not exist. The REDI Fund was set up in 2019 to close that distance.

The Fund works alongside the facilitation work done by the network — 2,500 loan applications facilitated to date — rather than replacing local financial institutions. Where a bank product fits, we prepare the business for it; where none does, the Fund can step in.
